A Lesson in Using Multi-channel Marketing

I recently brought in my car for service to a local dealer. It seems my starter went and the cost to repair it was over $900. Much to my astonishment, the service manager told me that because I was a long time loyal client of theirs (I purchased my car from them and used them exclusively for service for the past 6 years) they would replace the starter at no charge to me. I considered that a good day! The only thing the service manager requested was that I give them a completely satisfied rating on the survey when I received it via e-mail.
